1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to The Fairhaven Inn & Events ("Fairhaven," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, which govern the use of our site and any inquiries, reservations, or services related to The Fairhaven.

All event and lodging bookings are subject to the terms and conditions outlined in our legally binding contracts, which are provided through HoneyBook at the time of booking. These Terms of Service do not replace or override any contractual agreement entered into via HoneyBook.

2. Bookings & Payments

  • All venue reservations, event bookings, and lodging accommodations must be processed through HoneyBook.

  • A signed agreement and a non-refundable retainer are required to confirm bookings. Payment terms, cancellation policies, and additional charges are outlined in the official contract provided upon booking.

  • Payments may be made through HoneyBook, check, or cash. Credit card payments are subject to a 4% processing fee.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

  • All retainers and deposits are non-refundable. Full cancellation and postponement policies are specified in the event contract signed on HoneyBook.

  • If an event is canceled or postponed, rescheduling may be possible based on availability and subject to additional fees.

4. Venue & Property Use

  • Access to the venue, accommodations, and property is permitted only during the times outlined in the signed contract. Early setup or late departure must be pre-approved and may incur additional fees.

  • Clients and their guests must comply with all decor, safety, and liability policies as outlined in the event contract.

  • The Client is responsible for damages caused to the property, venue, furnishings, or equipment.

5. Vendor & Alcohol Policies

  • All third-party vendors must provide proof of general liability insurance before the event.

  • Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited. All alcohol must be provided and served exclusively by Tavern on the Ridge.

  • Tavern on the Ridge reserves the right to refuse service to any individual who appears intoxicated.

6. Liability & Indemnification

  • The Fairhaven Inn & Events is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings of guests, vendors, or event attendees.

  • By booking an event or stay, clients agree to indemnify and hold The Fairhaven Inn & Events harmless against any claims, damages, or losses incurred during their event or stay.

7. Social Media & Marketing

  • By booking an event at The Fairhaven, clients grant permission for photography and videography to be used in marketing materials unless they opt out in writing.

  • If a client wishes to opt out of social media and marketing use, they must notify us via email at [Insert Email] at least one day prior to their event.

8. Privacy Policy & Data Collection

  • We may collect personal data through inquiry forms, bookings, and newsletter sign-ups.

  • Personal information is never sold or shared with third parties. It is used solely for communication and service-related purposes.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any disputes shall be handled in Orleans County, New York.
